The archaeological heritage of Cilicia in a giant museum complex converted from a former textile factory.
Its story
One of Türkiye's largest museum complexes, it was established in the historic Milli Mensucat factory buildings. The archaeology section displays sculptures, sarcophagi, mosaics and Hittite-period works spanning from prehistory to Byzantium. The complex also has sections focusing on the city's history and on agriculture. On a rainy or very hot day, you can easily spend half a day here.
