1. Data controller

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by TRgezi as data controller (company name and address details will be added before launch) within the scope described below.

2. Personal data processed

  • Identity and contact: nickname, email address.
  • Location: the location you share when verifying a visit or suggesting a place (raw location is kept for at most 30 days, then reduced to coarse precision).
  • User content: place suggestions, descriptions, photos, reviews and problem reports.
  • Transaction security: session records, device ID, security and abuse-prevention records.
  • Marketing: campaign communication preferences, only if you have given separate explicit consent.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

  • Creating your account and providing the service (performance of a contract, KVKK art. 5/2-c).
  • Verifying visits and badges, preventing fraud (legitimate interest, art. 5/2-f).
  • Reviewing suggestions and publishing approved ones (performance of a contract; for photos, the licence consent given at upload).
  • Processing location data and sending commercial electronic messages (explicit consent, art. 5/1).
  • Fulfilling legal obligations (art. 5/2-ç).

4. Transfers

Your data may be transferred to our hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g. database and file storage) only to the extent necessary to provide the service and with the safeguards of KVKK arts. 8–9. Only aggregated reports, with cells of fewer than 20 people suppressed, are shared with municipalities and businesses.

5. Retention periods

Data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the limitation periods in the relevant legislation; it is then deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights (KVKK art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object, and claim compensation for damages. You can delete your account on the My account page and write to the address on the contact page for other requests.

7. Age limit

TRgezi is for users aged 13 and over. Coupons and public leaderboards are disabled for users under 18.
