Safety warning
Its story
Boraboy Lake formed when a landslide blocked the Çatağın Stream. About 750 meters long and 200 meters wide, the lake is surrounded by beech, Scots pine and chestnut forests. The area was declared a nature park by the DKMP (General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks) in 2013. The park has walking paths, picnic areas, a country restaurant, cabins and a campsite; you can go out on the lake in a pedal boat. Its autumn colors and winter scenery also draw visitors.
