A themed museum next to the Ferhat Water Channel telling famous love stories, above all that of Ferhat and Şirin.
Its story
Amasya is known as the setting of the legend of Ferhat and Şirin. Opened in 2013, the museum takes this legend as its starting point and brings to life, in nine sections, love stories such as Kerem and Aslı, Leyla and Mecnun, and Romeo and Juliet, as well as Anatolian minstrels and divine love. The historic water channel and the Ferhat and Şirin statue right next to it can be seen on the same visit.
