Its story
Ayaş is a district known for its hot springs, thermal baths and drinking springs. Alongside the Karakaya hot spring in the district center, the Ayaş drinking springs, about 23 km west of the center, are known for their mineral water as one of the region's important health and relaxation spots. The water is said to be used for drinking cures and is traditionally believed to be good for digestive problems. Construction of a large-scale spa facility in the area was reported to have begun in 2008.
