A district museum showcasing Karacasu's weaving, pottery, blacksmithing and leather crafts.
Its story
The Karacasu Ethnography Museum opened in the district center in 2007 and is attached to the Aphrodisias Museum Directorate. The exhibition includes examples of local weaving above all, as well as pottery, ironwork, leather and other handicrafts. Karacasu's centuries-old pottery tradition is one of the museum's key themes. It can be visited as a short stop on the way back from Aphrodisias.
