Safety warning
Its story
Malabadi Nature Park is a protected area declared a nature park in 2011 and managed by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks. On the Kozluk district side of the Batman Stream, it starts near the historic Malabadi Bridge on the Diyarbakır border and extends north along the valley. The area of about 1,000 decares was landscaped through the joint work of the Ministry, the Batman Governorship and the Kozluk District Governorate and opened to visitors with a ceremony in June 2025. Popular for day-trip relaxation with its green space and views of the stream valley, the park is also a stop for those who come to see the famous stone bridge on the opposite bank. The bridge itself is within the boundaries of Diyarbakır's Silvan district.
