Its story
The tombs are carved into rock faces on both banks of a stream in Beşdut village in the Merkez district. The facade of the columned tomb is about 10 meters wide; round-shafted columns without bases frame the square entrance. The columnless tomb right next to it opens through a quadrangular entrance into a burial chamber whose walls and ceiling are smoothly worked. The tombs are thought to date from the 6th century BC, and there are other similar rock tombs in the area. It is a rural site with no visitor infrastructure.
