Its story
The Çavundur thermal spring is in the town of Çavundur in Kurşunlu district and yields about 47 liters per second of water at 54 °C. Around the spring, about 1.5 kilometers from the Gerede–Samsun (E-80) highway, there are pool facilities belonging to the Provincial Special Administration and the town municipality. The alkaline, sodium-rich water is said to be used for bathing, drinking and inhalation. The Çankırı–Zonguldak railway line passing nearby also makes it possible to reach the spring by train. It is a relaxing stop on long journeys.
