Its story
Konaklı is a rural neighborhood southwest of Erzurum on an extension of the Palandöken Mountains; the ski center was built to competition standards for the 2011 Winter Universiade. During the Universiade it hosted the alpine skiing events; for this purpose, four-seater chairlifts were installed in 2010 and the runs were equipped with an artificial snow system. A large part of the runs are marked as advanced. The center is reached by a road branching off the Erzurum–Çat (D950) road; as operations and lift status may vary from season to season, it is necessary to get information before going.
