Its story
The garden was established by the ANG Foundation in 1995 as a memorial park in the name of Nezahat Gökyiğit and opened to visitors in 2003 after being converted into a botanical garden. In sections such as the Anatolia Island, Thrace Island, Oak Island and Arboretum Island, species of Türkiye's flora are displayed alongside plants brought from different countries. With its herbarium, established in 2004, and its educational programs, the garden also functions as a scientific center. With its ponds and walking paths, it offers a quiet green space in the city.
