A municipal garden outside the land walls introducing hundreds of medicinal and aromatic plant species.
Its story
The garden was established by the Zeytinburnu Municipality to introduce medicinal plants, inspired by the tradition of Merkez Efendi. The plants are displayed with information signs in plots grouped by their uses and plant families. The garden organizes educational programs and workshops for schools and nature lovers. Because it lies just outside the city walls, it can be combined with a visit to Yedikule and Merkez Efendi.
