Its story
Tanay was declared a nature park on 11 July 2011 for its forest and marine resource values and covers an area of 30.3 hectares. The park, right next to the famous Ilıca Beach, is one of the rare areas where forest meets the sea. Nature walks and photography trips can be made in and around the area; there is a snack kiosk and picnic units on site. It is about 9 km from central Çeşme and 80 km from İzmir, and a few minutes from Alaçatı.
