Its story
The Kaymakamlar Museum House (Gezi Evi) is one of the traditional mansions counted by the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism among Safranbolu's museums. Visitors can understand how a Safranbolu house was lived in by seeing the harem and selamlık sections of the house, the rooms arranged around the hall (sofa), the built-in cupboards and the items of the period. In some rooms, scenes of daily life are re-created with mannequins. As it is in the bazaar area, on the Hıdırlık slope, it is easily added to a walk through the town.
