Its story
TCG Yarhisar is a patrol boat that served in the Turkish Naval Forces for many years. After being decommissioned, it was brought ashore in Gölcük and turned into a museum ship. Visitors can see the ship's bridge, living quarters and equipment up close. As Gölcük is home to one of the Turkish navy's main bases, it is a district steeped in naval culture. It is an engaging stop for children that can be combined with a walk along the waterfront.
