Its story
Emet was declared a Thermal Tourism Center by Council of Ministers decision in 1993. Its spring waters are described as containing sulfate, bicarbonate, calcium and magnesium, and are said to be used as a supportive treatment for skin, digestive and kidney conditions. The Yeşil Kaplıcalar, Kaynarca Hamamı and Osmanlı Hamamı are among the district's well-known springs; the open spring pool at Hacanatlar stands out for its algae.
