A registered monumental black pine from whose branches, legend says, the infant Osman Gazi was rocked in a hanging cradle.
Its story
The age of this black pine in Domaniç is estimated at over 700 years. According to legend, Hayme Ana hung the cradle of her grandson Osman from the branches of this tree. The tree fell from natural causes in 1987, but its trunk was placed under protection and registered as a monumental tree. Today it is visited as a landscaped memorial site.
