Its story
Love Valley, also known as Bağlıdere, is one of the best-known fairy chimney valleys within Göreme Historical National Park. The tall, pointed rock columns rising from the valley floor were shaped by the hard basalt cap and the soft tuff beneath it eroding at different rates. A folk legend about the valley's name tells of two lovers who could never be united. You can look down into the valley from viewpoints between Uçhisar and Göreme, and you can also hike on the valley floor.
