Its story
Güllüdere Valley takes its name from the rose-colored tones its rocks take on during the day and stretches between the village of Çavuşin and Kızılçukur Valley. The paths winding through the valley offer some of the region's most beautiful fairy chimney views and are generally suitable for hikers of all levels. Within the valley are small rock-carved churches, some of them bearing traces of frescoes. Ending the walk with the sunset at the Kızılçukur viewpoint is one of the region's classic routes.
