Its story
The castle is built on a steep rock mass northeast of the ancient city. Strengthened in the period of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia, the structure watched over the Ceyhan plain and Kastabala. The remains of walls and cisterns can be seen on the hill. After the earthquake, access to the castle's surroundings was restricted for safety reasons.
