Its story
Beşikdağı is a hill overlooking the sea just south of the Beşikdüzü district center and was declared a nature park on 30 May 2016. From the recreation area at the summit, the Beşikdüzü coast and the Black Sea can be seen from a wide angle. The cable car line, about 3 km long, running from the shore up to the hill has been promoted as one of the longest lines on the Black Sea coast and has increased interest in the area. With picnic areas and forested slopes suitable for walking, it is a day-trip stop on Trabzon's western coast. It is among the Trabzon protected areas with a high number of visitors.
