A historic madrasa that is part of the Ramazanoğulları group of buildings around the Ulu Mosque.
Its story
The Ramazanoğlu Madrasa is part of the group of buildings left in the city center by the Ramazanoğulları Beylik, which ruled Adana for about two centuries. Together with the Ulu Mosque, the Ramazanoğlu Mansion and the imaret (soup kitchen), it forms a core reflecting the beylik's religious and educational life in Adana. Visitors can see the madrasa together with the mansion on a short walk starting from the Ulu Mosque courtyard.
