A Seljuk caravanserai on the bank of the Alara Stream, built in 1231 as the first staging post on the Alanya–Konya caravan route.
Its story
The han is on a plain about 37 km west of Alanya, 800 m from Alara Castle. It was built entirely of large cut stones on an area of about 2,000 m². The caravanserai's guard section retains its original character. Today, restored, it is used for commercial purposes.
