Yeşil Göl (Green Lake) is on Gömbe Yayla in Kaş, at the foot of Akdağ, one of the high peaks of the Western Taurus. The lake of about 50 decares is a hiking destination for nature lovers in the summer heat. It is considered sacred by Alevi citizens. In dry years the water level can drop markedly.
