A coastal park in Avsallar known for its shoreline kamenitza formations and an 1,800-year-old olive oil workshop.
Its story
The park was declared a nature park on 8 February 2016 and is in Avsallar, about 24 km from Alanya. On the shore, kamenitzas formed by carbonic-acid water dissolving the rocks spread over an area of about 13 thousand m². An ancient olive oil workshop, estimated to be 1,800 years old and discovered during hotel construction in the park, has been taken under protection.
