An old fishing town whose white houses step down toward the bay, close to Patara and Kaputaş.
Its story
Kalkan is a touristic neighborhood of Kaş. The town is believed to have been founded about 150–200 years ago by merchants from the nearby island of Meis. With its narrow streets and small harbor, it is one of the most photogenic settlements in the region. A few kilometers to the west is the protected Fırnaz Landing.
