A natural cave, one of Turkey's most important Paleolithic settlements, with a small museum beside it.
Its story
Karain is about 27 km northwest of Antalya, within the boundaries of the Yağca neighborhood, 430–450 m above sea level. The cave is described as one of Turkey's largest natural caves, and excavations have found traces of habitation going back to the Old Stone Age. It is reached by turning off at the Karain sign on the Antalya–Burdur road.
