A mountain village built on the remains of the ancient city of Erymna, famous for its "düğmeli ev" architecture.
Its story
Ormana is a historic settlement in İbradı that takes its name from the ancient city recorded in inscriptions as Erymna. The village houses are built with the local düğmeli ev (button house) technique, in which wooden beams are set between stone walls. Reused ancient stones can be seen in the streets, and remains of Erymna in the surroundings.
