Phaselis Ancient City
Kemer, Antalya
A Lycian harbor city among pine forests, with three harbors, an aqueduct and a main street running down to the shore.
Its story
Phaselis is about 16–17 km south of Kemer and north of Tekirova, between the Beydağları and the Olympos forests. It was an important trading port in the ancient Greek and Roman periods. The remains of the theater, baths, agora and arched aqueduct are clustered around the main street running down to the sea. Being able to swim in the coves beside the ruins makes the city especially attractive in summer.
