Its story
Known in antiquity as Olympos and Phoinikous, the mountain is within Beydağları Coastal National Park. A branch of the Lycian Way passes through the gorge west of the mountain, and the route winds among old cedars and junipers. A cable car line runs from the station at 726 m to the summit. From the summit, the coastline and the Taurus Mountains are seen in a wide panorama.
