Its story
The National Rise Monument was made by sculptor Hüseyin Gezer in 1964 and stands on Antalya's Cumhuriyet Square. With its sharply rising base and the figures along its sides, it symbolizes Atatürk's leadership and national unity in the process from the War of Independence to the founding of the Republic.
