Bursa Atatürk Museum
Osmangazi, Bursa
A late 19th-century mansion set in a garden, where Atatürk stayed on his visits to Bursa.
Its story
The mansion (köşk) on Çekirge Caddesi was built as a residence in the late 19th century and presented to Atatürk in the 1920s. Atatürk stayed here when he came to Bursa. The rooms of the three-story building display furniture, belongings and photographs of the period. Its tree-lined garden creates a quiet corner right next to the busy avenue. It is on the same route as Kültürpark and the Archaeology Museum.
