Kurşunlu Coast
Gemlik, Bursa
A seaside village on the southern shore of the Gulf of Gemlik, known for beaches where olive groves run down to the sea.
Its story
Kurşunlu is a seaside settlement on the Marmara coast between Gemlik and Mudanya. Olive groves running from the hills behind it down to the sea form a typical coastal landscape where Gemlik olives are grown. In summer it is one of the shores the people of Bursa favor for swimming. The small fishing shelter and modest beaches along the shore suit a quiet day out. Linked to Gemlik by a short drive, it can be part of a touring route around the gulf.
