A museum in a 19th-century Denizli house displaying Atatürk's belongings and the region's dress and domestic culture.
Its story
The museum opened in 1984 in a two-story 19th-century Denizli house in the Saraylar neighborhood. One section displays belongings of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The other halls recreate traditional Denizli life with local costumes, textiles, and kitchen and household items. Close to Kaleiçi, it is easily added to a walk around the city center.
