A Seljuk-style tomb at the entrance of the old cemetery in Baklan, built for Hüsamettin Dede, a Seljuk raider commander who fought at Myriokephalon.
Its story
Hüsamettin Gazi Bey, popularly known as Hüsamettin Dede, was a Seljuk raider commander who played a role in the conquest of the Baklan and Denizli area. It is reported that he fought against the Crusaders, suppressed the Asikaraağaç (Acıpayam) revolt, and took part in the Battle of Myriokephalon in 1176, where he was wounded. His tomb stands at the entrance of the old cemetery in Baklan and bears the features of Seljuk architecture. The Commons record gives Hüsamettin Gazi Bey's date of death as 1252. The tomb is the district's best-known historic building.
