Kaklık Cave
Honaz, Denizli
A cave known as 'Cave Pamukkale', where thermal water flowing inside has formed travertine terraces.
Its story
Kaklık Cave is at Kaklık, about 30 km from the provincial center on the Denizli-Ankara highway. Inside the cave, which opens as a sinkhole, white travertine terraces deposited by thermal water can be seen alongside stalactites and stalagmites. For this reason it is popularly called 'Little Pamukkale' or 'Cave Pamukkale'. The visitor route is laid out with bridges and platforms; in 2024 it was visited by about 134,000 people.
