Its story
Paragliding flights at Pamukkale start from a hill called Dinamit Tepe (Dynamite Hill), named for a dynamite depot that once stood there. The launch point is about 2.5 km from the town of Pamukkale, and there is an altitude difference of about 300 meters between it and the landing area. During the flight you get a bird's-eye view of the white travertine terraces, the remains of the ancient city of Hierapolis and the Denizli plain. Tourist tandem flights are made with licensed pilots and usually last 15–30 minutes. Pamukkale is often cited as one of Türkiye's busiest paragliding spots after Fethiye.
