Trapezopolis Ancient City

A small city at the Boludüzü locality near Bekirler village, part of the province of Phrygia Pacatiana in the late Roman period.
Its story
Trapezopolis is at the Boludüzü locality northeast of Bekirler village in Babadağ. Founded in the ancient region of Caria, it was attached to the province of Phrygia Pacatiana in the late Roman period. It became a bishopric in the Byzantine period. Excavations are uncovering a small theater and traces of public buildings.
