Its story
Sakaryabaşı is the place where the springs feeding the Sakarya River emerge from the ground on both sides east of the Eskişehir–Afyonkarahisar highway. The area of about 250 thousand square meters has been laid out as a recreation area with swimming pools and sports and play areas. The restaurants around the springs serve freshwater fish such as trout, mirror carp and catfish. On the rocks on the eastern side of the springs there are cave entrances and the remains of 'Hamam Kaya', attributed to the Phrygian period. It is suitable for a meal break on Phrygian Valley tours heading south from Eskişehir.
