Its story
Beşikli Cave is the most impressive rock tomb of the necropolis of Seleucia Pieria. The colonnaded facade in front and the many burial beds inside gave the cave its name by comparison with a 'cradle' (beşik). There are also other burial chambers of various sizes on the rocky slope. The area, still visited together with the Titus Tunnel after the earthquake, is one of the most popular spots in Çevlik.
