Its story
Neapolis, whose name means "new city", is an ancient settlement on the eastern border of Pisidia. The remains lie on hilly ground southeast of Şarkikaraağaç, near Lake Beyşehir. The city is thought to have stood on roads connected to Pisidian Antioch in the Roman period. Since no extensive excavation has taken place, scattered architectural fragments can be seen on the surface; it is a quiet stop for exploration.
