Its story
Kuzguncuk was a small Bosphorus village in the Ottoman period where Jewish, Greek, Armenian and Turkish residents lived together. On the main street, the Kuzguncuk Mosque and the Armenian Church of Surp Krikor Lusavoriç share the same courtyard wall; nearby are the Church of Aya Pantelimon and the Beth Yaakov Synagogue. With its market gardens, colorful wooden houses and steep streets, the neighborhood has been the setting for many TV series and films. From the shore you can see the Bosphorus and Ortaköy opposite.
