Its story
On the ridge of the hill separating the bays of Bodrum and Gümbet, stone windmills stand in a row to catch the wind. The mills once ground the peninsula's wheat; they fell out of use with mechanization. Partly restored, they are a viewpoint overlooking both Bodrum Castle and Gümbet Bay, especially at sunset.
