Its story
The Emecik sanctuary is on a slope near the village of Emecik, in the eastern part of the Datça Peninsula. Excavations have uncovered terraces, an altar and votive finds belonging to a place of worship dedicated to Apollo. The site is important for understanding religious life on the peninsula in the periods before Knidos.
