Kovanlık Nature Park

Its story

Kovanlık is a 5.76-hectare area declared a nature park on 11 July 2011. The park lies within the Datça–Bozburun Special Environmental Protection Area and a 2nd-degree natural protected site; it is covered with Turkish red pine forest and Mediterranean maquis. The area has bungalow-type accommodation units, wooden bungalows, a country restaurant, a training building, and shower and changing cabins. According to DKMP, there is no day-use option at the park; the area serves only overnight visits.
