An Ottoman-era clock tower on Kalekapısı Square, built on top of an old wall tower.
Its story
The Clock Tower stands in the Kalekapısı area, one of the city's busiest meeting points. Its stone body is integrated with part of the old city walls. Since it shares the same square with the Yivli Minaret and the Tekeli Mehmet Paşa Mosque, it is a convenient meeting place to start a tour of Kaleiçi.
